The new X-Series™ range of Dome and ball PTZ cameras from Redvision combine industry standard features with the ultimate in product flexibility.
All X-Series™ models are supplied ready to install as a standard dome camera, but can be quickly converted to a ball PTZ configuration by simply removing the dome top cover. Once removed the entire module can be inverted and tower mounted. An option to set the arms in forward position enables the camera to see an unimpeded 360 degree view of the tower base.
Models in the range include an entry level RVX28 standard dome/ball PTZ, RVX28-W (with wiper) and the infra red equipped models RVX28-IR & RVX-IR-W (with wiper) giving night time IR illumination up to 200m in diameter.
In dome configuration, the X-Series™ boasts several industry firsts. The flat, toughened glass window provides superior optics compared to plastic bubbles and the added option of a wiper blade to improve performance in adverse weather. Ergonomic engineering design ensures the camera can see well above the horizon without the video image being ‘clipped’ by the dome top.
The X-Series™ uses the same bracket accessories, power supplies and alarm modules as the Redvision IR dome allowing seamless integration and easy upgrade of existing Redvision installations.
