Redvision featured the X-SERIES™ and VOLANT™ rugged PTZs and VEGA™ fixed cameras on the Digifort VMS stand during a successful IFSEC 2018.
Redvision cameras are deeply integrated with the Digifort VMS and Analytics platform. Stephen Lightfoot, technical director at Redvision, explains, “Digifort software offers many unique features for Redvision’s rugged PTZs, such as analytics on presets; point and click operation; and control of lights, wipers, washers and telemetry.
“Digifort is one of our preferred VMS platforms. It offers end users and installers a cost-effective, scalable, intuitive, server-based control system, with no annual maintenance fees. It also maximises the incredible functionality of our rugged PTZs and fixed cameras and is integrated with 245 other CCTV brands, for total project flexibility.
“Legacy CCTV cameras can be re-used in surveillance projects, including encoding analogue cameras into the system. 2MP, 4MP, 8MP and 12MP cameras, with H.264 or H.265 compression, are all integrated.”
