Redvision to show the complete VEGA™ range at Security TWENTY 20 in Birmingham.

Redvision’s complete range of VEGA™ rugged housings and cameras will be on show at Security TWENTY 20 in Birmingham, on 20th February 2020.

The VEGA™ 2010, rugged camera housing can be pre-configured, ready to install with a wide range of box cameras. Will Hucker, General Manager at Redvision, explains, “The VEGA™ 2010 will be shown on a 300mm, standoff mount extension, fitted directly to a CCTV tower using a convenient, 4” PCD mounting plate and M8 bolts. It will include its PoE-driven, Tru-park silicon wiper; a Visor Extension for shading the camera against sunlight and glare; and a built-in, PoE heater.”

Redvison will also be showing the VEGA™ 2052, the high-performance, rugged camera version of the range, with Redvision’s own 2MP camera module built in. Will added, “The VEGA™ 2052 has a 2.8mm to 12mm electronic zoom lens, with adaptive IR. This ensures optimal image quality throughout its zoom operation, without bleaching and gives incredible, low-light performance. At the show, the VEGA™ 2052 has been manufactured with a wall bracket, to fit to the CCTV tower using Redvision’s new, pole clamp bracket.”

Finally, Redvision will be introducing the VEGA™ 2052 Bullet. This is a tough, outdoor camera in a bullet format, using the same camera module as the VEGA™ 2052. Will again, “The Bullet is the result of demand from customers for a tough, but non-ruggedised VEGA™. This is also fitted to the CCTV tower using a pole clamp bracket. We are developing ANPR and Thermal options of the VEGA™ 2052 Bullet and will use the exhibition to gauge demand.”
