Why Choose Redvision?
Our History
Redvision is a UK CCTV manufacturer with deep roots in the security industry, founded from Dennard, a pioneering CCTV manufacturer established in 1957.
Established in 2000, Redvision quickly gained recognition for innovation and product excellence. In 2006, we introduced the industry’s first rugged, external PTZ dome camera with integral built-in infra-red illumination, setting a new standard for performance and durability.
Our heritage of British engineering, combined with a forward-thinking approach, continues to shape Redvision’s role as a trusted leader in CCTV surveillance solutions.
The X-SERIES rugged PTZ dome camera, launched in 2011, is now the recognised leader in Local Authority, industrial and public space, CCTV applications.
2017 saw the launch of the VEGA, a range of rugged camera enclosures and the VMS1000 open-platform control system, powered by Digifort video management software. Since 2020, Redvision have extended its’ product offering, releasing the Knight Series range of NVRs and static IP cameras, and the 5G CCTV Hub, re-deployable rugged camera station.
Better by Design
X-SERIES™ rugged PTZ dome cameras and the VEGA™ rugged housings are made from durable, die-cast aluminium. They have super-efficient, white-light and infra-red LED technology, for use in total darkness or mixed light conditions.
All our cameras have low running costs and low total cost of ownership (TCO), ensuring a minimal carbon footprint.

Environmental Policy
Energy efficiency and reduced “total-cost-of-ownership” have been central to the green-energy design approach used in Redvision’s cameras. The IR and white light, night-time CCTV cameras use super-efficient LED technology, delivering both extensive night-time illumination capability and low operating costs. They remove the need for energy-draining security lighting and eliminate the light pollution these can cause. Redvision customers benefit from reduced energy bills, as a result.
