Integrated Security and Surveillance Systems for the UK's Most Demanding Environments

The Great Yarmouth site poses challenges; the beautiful seaside location which attracts so much tourism brings with it harsh salt water coastal environments. The proposal included Synectics’ powerful and highly flexible Synergy platform, and the Redvision X2 COMBAT rugged ball PTZ cameras, ideal for harsh environments. In March 2021, 56 X2 COMBATs were installed across the site. The full integration with Synergy, and scalability of the system, will allow further installations to seamlessly integrate with the security solution.

Redvision CCTV Manufactures Rugged CCTV Solutions for Tough Locations

Redvision has a unique heritage in CCTV manufacturing and the Redvision brand is synonymous with rugged CCTV solutions for tough locations. The X2 COMBAT IP PTZ camera is manufactured marine as standard; with a die-cast aluminium body which is anodised before being powder coated. The long-life, custom designed silicon wiper acts to remove water and debris from the window; ensuring crystal clear images whatever the weather. The camera comes with optional IR illumination or dual IR and white light. However, for this installation non-LED models were used due to the ambient lighting and the 1/2.8” low-light CMOS sensor; high quality images can be obtained day or night without illumination.
