Redvision's VMS1000 IPX Analytics provides PPE face mask, goggles and helmet detection.

Redvision's VMS1000 IPX Analytics provides PPE face mask, goggles and helmet detection.

The Redvision VMS1000™ IPX Analytics uses Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning to recognise people, vehicles and objects and how they behave. The IPX 'Helmet and PPE' analytics can tell if a person is wearing a hard helmet, PPE mask and/or goggles. IPX Analytics allow logical rules to be applied, so that an alarm is only raised when the exact combination of objects are seen, or not seen, together. For example, if a person is wearing, or not wearing, a helmet, PPE or goggles and breaching site regulations. In the example below left, an alarm has been triggered (yellow box) to show a person is wearing a PPE mask and goggles, but no helmet. Below right, an alarm has been triggered... Read More

The new Redvision VMS1000™ IPX analytics provides multi-zone, multi-camera occupancy.

The Redvision VMS1000™ IPX Analytics uses Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning to recognise people, vehicles and objects, along with how they are behaving. The analytics will count the people, vehicles and objects within a zone, or multiple zones, in a camera view, simply by looking at the scene. This means: No more counting people into and out of a room over a line.No issues with more than one door or access point. No need to place a camera directly above a door for accuracy.Existing cameras can often be used to provide the analytics video stream.Occupancy zones are drawn in the camera view. Total occupancy can be calculated in a single zone; multiple zones in a camera view; and multiple zones across multiple... Read More

Redvision coronavirus update.

We are pleased to inform customers that our production facility in Alton is open and we are building products. The welfare of our staff is paramount, so to stay open whilst complying with the Government’s recommendation for a safe distance between each member of staff, we are operating with smaller production teams with an option for more shifts. All our staff’s jobs are safe. Unfortunately, our output will be reduced because of this, so we do expect some delays to orders, for which we apologise. We plan to focus on completing critical infrastructure orders as a priority, and then all remaining orders thereafter. Our sales office will remain open from 9.00am until 5.00pm, thanks to a dedicated staff team working... Read More
Redvision releases a tough, new washer bracket for its recently launched, X2-COMBAT™ rugged, PTZ camera.

Redvision releases a tough, new washer bracket for its recently launched, X2-COMBAT™ rugged, PTZ camera.

Redvision now offers a washer bracket for its newly-released, X2-COMBAT™ rugged, ball PTZ camera. Will Hucker, General Manager at Redvision, explains, “The RVX2-WASH bracket is firmly attached to the 4” PCD base mount of the X2-COMBAT™ using M8 bolts. It includes a single delivery, universal nozzle to squirt water onto the camera’s window. This is cleaned away by the camera’s silicon wiper, which is now part of the standard build. “The RVX2-WASH bracket nozzle connects to the washer pipe of any standard CCTV wash pump system. The washer pump motor is switched on using the dedicated ‘Wash’ auxiliary output on the X2-COMBAT™ ALARM camera; a command from Redvision’s VMS1000™ control system; and an ONVIF command from any third-party VMS. Redvision’s compact, new, stainless steel camera is going down an X3-STORM™!

Redvision gave installers a sneak preview of its prototype, X3-STORM™, stainless steel, rugged ball PTZ camera, at the Security TWENTY 20 Exhibition and Conference in Birmingham. The X3-STORM™ has identical features and performance to the recently launched, X2-COMBAT™, but is made from Marine Grade, 316, stainless steel. This gives the camera exceptional resistance to extreme marine, hazardous and toxic environments. Will Hucker, General Manager at Redvision, explains, “The X3-STORM™ body parts, spindles and fixings are all made from 316 stainless steel, the highest quality available. The body parts are investment cast, with joining surfaces machined for flatness and reliable sealing. By casting, instead of machining from solid like most other stainless cameras, the X3-STORM™ is more compact, repeatable, less wasteful... Read More
