Redvision CCTV Expand UK Manufacturing Facility
Redvision CCTV, UK manufacturer of rugged CCTV camera systems, has recently expanded its production facility. The expansion will allow the company to meet growing demand for its products, which include the world-leading X-Series range of rugged PTZ cameras. The new facility is an expansion to Redvision's existing headquarters in Hampshire, England, and includes an additional 4,000 square feet, providing an extra 21 production workstations and development of a multi-storey stores facility. VMS1000 - Digifort’s Version 7.4 VMS and Analytics Platform offers Enhanced LPR Capabilities
The version 7.4 release of Digifort’s VMS and analytics platform, which powers Redvision's VMS1000, includes significant enhancements to its License Plate Recognition (LPR) feature set. LPR comes as a module within Digifort. It draws on three different recognition engines for plate capture, optimised for different vehicle movement criteria and license plate configurations. This means the engine, which is ideal for fast-moving vehicles on highways, is different to the one used for stationary vehicles in car parks and garage forecourts. Digifort’s LPR module captures plates, designating them as entry or exit from a zone configured in a camera’s field of view.
