Redvision to show the complete VEGA™ range at Security TWENTY 20 in Birmingham.
Redvision’s complete range of VEGA™ rugged housings and cameras will be on show at Security TWENTY 20 in Birmingham, on 20th February 2020. The VEGA™ 2010, rugged camera housing can be pre-configured, ready to install with a wide range of box cameras. Will Hucker, General Manager at Redvision, explains, “The VEGA™ 2010 will be shown on a 300mm, standoff mount extension, fitted directly to a CCTV tower using a convenient, 4” PCD mounting plate and M8 bolts. Redvision has appointed Will Hucker as General Manager of its manufacturing site in Hampshire. This follows the company’s sustained expansion in UK and international markets. Will is responsible for the efficient running of the facility, as well as overseeing the company’s growing product portfolio, including the IP and analogue, X-SERIES™ rugged ball PTZ cameras; VEGA™ rugged housings; VMS1000™ control system; and RedCop™ rapid deployment, CCTV towers. Will comes from Fluor Ltd, one of the world's largest engineering, procurement, construction (EPC) and maintenance companies. Order Redvision’s all-new, high-performance, analogue X-SERIES™ rugged dome from November.
Redvision’s all-new, analogue X-SERIES™, rugged dome uses Sony’s next-generation, 2MP, STARVIS sensor. It directly replaces the previous RVX30™ analogue model and will be available to order under the same model number from November. “Many security-integrators consider Redvision’s X-SERIES™ to be the industry benchmark, rugged dome camera,” explained Paul Hucker, Director of Redvision. “With several analogue components being phased out by suppliers, we were under pressure to use a low-end camera solution in the RVX30™ to maintain supply.
