Redvision has launched the Redvision VMS1000™, a new, open-platform, control system. Stephen Lightfoot, technical director at Redvision, explains, “The Redvision VMS1000™ is both a video management software and analytics solution. Redvision has added two pre-built, fixed-camera options to its newly-launched, VEGA™, rugged housing range. Security installers can now buy complete, rugged, fixed-camera solutions from Redvision, with the same tough, hazardous or corrosive, outdoor, surveillance characteristics as their market-leading, X-SERIES™ and VOLANT™, rugged, PTZ cameras.The initial VEGA™ 2050 camera options include the VEGA™ 2052, with a built-in, 2MP camera module and the VEGA™ 2054, with a built-in, 4MP camera module. Redvision launches the ground-breaking, VEGA™ 2010, rugged housing range.
Redvision has launched the Redvision VEGA™ 2010, rugged camera housing for tough, hazardous or corrosive, outdoor surveillance applications. The VEGA™ 2010 will house fixed camera and lens combinations, up to 290mm in length, offering protection from dirt, moisture and dust ingress. It is cable-managed, with a built-in junction box, making it simple to install and vandal-resistant. It is also symmetrical, so it can be pendent or pedestal mounted, to ceilings, walls and soffits. Redvision has promoted Stephen Lightfoot to the position of Technical Director. The appointment is a result of Redvision’s continued growth in UK and international markets and successful expansion of its IP and analogue product ranges. Redvision’s RV30™, X-SERIES™ rugged PTZ dome cameras now fully integrate with leading, open platform, video management software provider, Digifort, available exclusively through the Security Buying Group. Operators can take full advantage of variable speed PTZ operation, with flexible control options.
